LORING

THE LORING COMMERCE CENTRE

Formerly the Loring Air Force, the Loring Commerce Centre is 3800 acres in size and located in the town of Limestone in Northern Maine. Existing buildings and brownfield and greenfield development sites benefit from heavy duty road and rail infrastructure and on-site waste water treatment facilities. The Loring Development Authority, as an Agency of the State of Maine, is authorized for PILOT arrangements and bonds.

SEARSPORT-LORING CORRIDOR

In the 1950's, the US Air Force established this 200 mile long, 50 foot wide right-of-way and installed a 6" pipeline which delivered heating oil and jet fuel from Searsport to the Bangor International Airport and the Loring Air Force Base. Loring Holdings, LLC holds the rights to develop this corridor for new infrastructure, including biofuels and electric transmission. A Third Party is currently using the existing 6" pipeline for natural gas distribution between Bangor and Lincoln.
